The atmosphere inside the pavilion is intimate yet spacious, a kitchen is provided for home cooking, caterers or a personal chef if you prefer. The pavilion offers disabled access and facilities.

Broadhalfpenny Down is a versatile venue to hire for special occasions, dinner parties, corporate events, parties for all ages or hosting funeral and memorial receptions.
The pavilion ‘long room’ can entertain your guests of up to 30 whilst for larger events the Summer Marquee caters for up to 80 guests comfortably.
Why not invite your guests to this famous venue, whether you wish to hold a quiet team meeting in the pavilion, use the grounds for team building exercises or put on something more prestigious? You can even hire the Broadhalfpenny Down to host your very own cricket match! The grounds will be yours for the day, and we can provide traditional English Hospitality for your most valued clients.

A fantastic venue! A field of dreams.....It was comfortable, cosy, safe and had easy access for the disabled ones in the family and we were able to prepare all our own food. We made lovely memories there for our parents surprise party! They had a wonderful day. The tranquility at this place is indescribable we didn’t want to leave. Wedding Receptions
The pavilion is available for intimate weddings between October and March costs of daily hire from £600. For weddings that require the use of the pavilion and marquee during the summer months of May through to September cost from £2,000. For more details, please get in touch where we can additionally recommend excellent local businesses to assist with the many additional requirements including, marquees, flowers and catering.
There is a variety of local accommodation to choose from and plenty of things to do including a tour and tasting at Hambledon Vineyard! What a magical venue for a wedding! The history of the site means a lot to those who play cricket, but for the rest of us it is the wonderful views, lovely sunsets and ideal rural setting that appeals. The Pavilion and existing marquee provided all that we needed on the ‘support’ side and by adding a larger marquee looking out over the views (panoramic windows), we could easily accommodate our wedding guests in style. We added just a few flowers and some lights and the location did the rest. I cannot recommend Broadhalfpenny Down enough. It made for a truly special day. For me and my ‘cricketing’ husband! What a fantastic venue! I hired the cricket pavilion for the bridal shower for one of my best friends. The location was absolutely perfect! We sat up tables on the veranda so regardless of the weather, we could dine outside. We welcomed the guests with cocktails and canapés as we looked out on the stunning views. The grounds were perfect for the occasion as we had plenty of room to play games. The balcony also provided a perfect location for the photos of the stunning bride to be. Support from the staff leading up to the party was excellent and all my questions were answered well in advance. I would definitely hire this venue again.
