England's footballers reached the finals of the Euros so a short-format game took place against the Saints on a spongey Broadhalfpenny Down wicket.

Saints, who always bring a strong team down from London, bowled straight and caught well and Brigands struggled to get any momentum reaching just 122 of their 150 balls.

Brigands sinned with 4 dropped catches and England missed three penalties as Saints, and Italy, were victorious on the day.
